On my way to a picnic, I came across a local high school band selling sub sandwiches, also known as hoagies. Signs and a tent announced the students’ mission. Like most people you can probably remember those fundraising days from your youth.

After handing the lanky teen my money, he handed me the sandwiches and a magnet.
